A Cold January Morning

Copyright, Jason

He wants something
More than anything else in the world
He wants it so much that it hurts
Everyday… It hurts
But what he wants is a dream
Something he can NEVER have
More and more… Everyday
Some days it hurts so much
That he hurts himself
Just to feel a different kind of pain
All he wants is just one thing
But one thing is too much to ask
It will NEVER be more than a dream
And now he just wants to wake up
For the dream to Go Away
For the PAIN to GO AWAY
Forever

Always About Her

Copyright, Jason

where did you go. who are you. i remember not long ago,
someone that was perfect. like something from a dream,
only in real life too. you were so great,
but now you’re something different. someone new has appeared,
like a stranger i’ve always known, but know nothing about.
i can only dream of the perfect you now,
because an actual perfect you could never exist anymore.
but what can i say to someone that doesn’t exist,
someone who isn’t what i wish you could be.
all i can say is that you were the epitome of my dreams,
and all i can hope for now, is some way i could dream forever.

He wants something
More than anything else in the world
He wants it so bad that it hurts
Everyday… It hurts
But what he wants is a dream
Something he can NEVER have
More and more… Everyday
Some days it hurts so much
That he hurts himself
Just to feel a different kind of pain
All he wants is just one thing
But one thing is too much to ask
It will NEVER be more than a dream
And now he just wants to wake up
For the dream to Go Away
For the PAIN to GO AWAY
FOREVER
