Hurtful death

by Julia

I walked into school, skipped second period and took 18 cold Tylenol. I was in so much pain I had to get it over with. By the end of the period I was shaking, my vision was blurred and my speech was slurred. I was scared. My teacher who has kept my life together knew there was something wrong. I finally spilled it out.

She took me down to the nurse's office and got a substitute for class. The nurse told me to lie down. I didn't think I had taken enough. Disappointed I walked out of the office. I was found and brought back. I remember lying down, and 10 minutes later, waking up - and being dizzy. The nurse asked where the rest of the pills were. I gave them to her. She panicked and screamed. She immediately called the poison control. She gave them my age weight and height. They told her to rush me to the hospital as quickly as possible.

I don't remember much after that except I was in the trauma room getting my stomach pumped. I couldn't control vomit. I was throwing up blood and pills. I heard the nurses screaming she is going to die. I went unconscious and I heard something that they had to do CPR. Three days later I was in the psychiatric hospital. Never take an overdose. I bought the worst that a person can buy. I was dying. Coughing up blood vomit, a tube down my throat. That day I took death by the neck. I will never do it again. I pray that you don't either.
