How Are You

Copyright, Loggery

No one can save you now from the chains around your heart
Who knew self destruction could be such a beautiful art
Neglect to talk is more efficient than any blade
At tearing yourself apart

Selfishness never looked so right and good to me
As a suicide case on the ten o’clock news on channel three
The saviour of her suffering laid in a feast of pills
No guts to go play in traffic, no time to wait and see

A television for company, a computer as an only friend
These days death and destruction seem to be the trend
One less life on my part is a starving Ethopian’s life saved
I guess suicide isn’t that selfish after all

People say words to each other when its too late
What good is sorry or I love you when they have sealed their fate
I think she looks pretty like that, don’t care what you say
Blood soaked sheets are’nt fashion though, at least not to date

Get out of my row boat, I’m not struggling for two
They never cared about me, it is all I can do
You say you understand, psychology is just your job after all
My mother jumped off a bridge last week, how about you?
