Jump into bed. Pretend your asleep.
Dry your tears on the pillowcase.
Hiding the secret you’ve desperatley tried to keep.
Escaping away to your special place.

Run to the desk, open the drawer.
Grab the tool, close the door.
Watch my blood drip to the floor.
Lay back in bed, wishing for more.

Think of all your mistakes,
And of all your faults, staring you in the face,
Watches as your heart breaks.
Remember everything you tried to erase.

Time ticks by, it’s still from your perspective,
You rush back to the gleaming metal,
Draining Blood is your objective,
Only then can you finally, willingly, settle.
