Trapped

Copyright, Mistie

Trapped in my skin
trapped in my own skin
I find myself lost again
once again I try to escape, clawing through my memories
all the feelings I try to freeze
Blinding my heart from the pain ahead
for too many tears it has bled
tearing the emotional scaring, not easy to see
ripping and scratching myself helplessly
I just want out of me!
I’m trapped in here and no one knows
But this is the way life goes
never to be free
stuck in this reality.

If My Walls Could Talk

Copyright, Mistie

If my walls could talk, they would tell you
all the pain im going through
they would tell you what they see me do
they would tell you about all the tears i’ve cried
and about all the times i’ve tried to hide
if my walls could talk they would tell you
about the late nights
and all the unforgotten fights
they would tell you about all the hurt
that turn into hate
they would tell you ‘it’s too late’
‘no one could heal her wounds’
they would tell you about all the too soons
if my walls could talk they would tell you
my heart is broken and had been so much
that it would hurt for only one single touch
they would tell you about all the uncryed tears
they would tell you all my worst fears
they would tell you about my screams of pain
and how im almost not the same
if my walls could talk they would tell
unbelievable stories about my past
they would tell you stories that would last and last
they would make you gasp and hold your breath
they would tell you about they almost death
they would tell you about the river of my colored tears red, black, and blue
they would tell you how lonley I feel
tell you life for me is so unreal
and tell you about the shattered dream
and how nothing is what it seems
if my walls could talk they’d tell you about
the pain im going through
they would tell you what they see me do.
